LincRide launch offer cuts driver commission to 2.5% from sixth daily trip until end of November
As part of its Lagos ride-hailing launch, LincRide will reduce its standard 7.5% driver commission to 2.5% from a driver's sixth trip of the day, with the offer running until the end of November 2026; after November, the 2.5% rate starts from the 11th trip. At the standard rate, drivers keep 85% of every fare after statutory VAT.

Lagos-based mobility company LincRide will launch instant ride-hailing in Lagos on 15 October 2026 with 3,000 verified drivers onboarded and ready to take trips from day one. Rides are booked entirely on WhatsApp with no app download, sign-up form or password; new passengers receive a ₦5,000 voucher, and the company's existing carpooling service continues alongside the new product. The launch follows Uber's exit from Nigeria on 2 September.
