Mercedes-Benz Australia recalls over 58,000 vehicles over auto park defect

Mercedes-Benz Australia is recalling 58,822 vehicles produced between 2018 and 2026 across several model lines because a manufacturing defect in the door-lock microswitch may allow water damage and failure, preventing the auto park feature from operating and increasing the risk of unintended vehicle movement, injury or death. Affected owners will be contacted and advised to schedule a free repair at an authorised dealership once parts become available.
