    Planned Jimmy Savile tribute cancelled

A planned tribute connected with Jimmy Savile was cancelled after his posthumous exposure as a predatory sex offender. Savile had attended the ship's 2010 christening and had traveled on Queen Elizabeth in 2011; the controversy concerned the proposed tribute rather than an allegation that the ship itself committed misconduct.
