Mundipharma and Samsung Bioepis form biosimilar commercialization partnership
Mundipharma said it secured a partnership with Samsung Bioepis to commercialize Samsung Bioepis’ first-wave biosimilar candidates in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Mundipharma will be the exclusive commercialization partner; Samsung Bioepis will handle clinical development, regulatory registration and manufacturing.

Mundipharma pays penalties over TARGIN promotional claims
Mundipharma paid $302,400 in penalties in response to 24 infringement notices issued by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration. The notices concerned promotional claims about nine TARGIN opioid medicines that the TGA considered misleading, imbalanced, and otherwise inaccurate; payment is not an admission of guilt or liability.

Mundipharma fined over Targin advertising
Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration fined Mundipharma AU$302,400 and issued 24 infringement notices over promotional materials for Targin that the regulator said could encourage opioid prescribing for chronic non-cancer pain. Mundipharma said it disagreed with the decision.
