NPower announces Command Shift coalition
NPower announced Command Shift, a coalition of corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations focused on increasing opportunities in the technology industry for women of color. Citi Foundation joined as a founding partner, alongside corporate members including Amazon Web Services, Comcast NBCUniversal, Guardian Life, and others.

NPower and MTX Group partner on veteran employment
NPower partnered with MTX Group to connect veterans and military spouses who graduate from NPower's program with paid internships and full-time apprenticeships in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. MTX had hired three full-time employees and offered 17 paid internships.

E.ON announces restructuring plan for its UK business
E.ON announced a restructuring plan for its British business, including closing parts of Npower, additional job cuts and a carve-out of Npower’s industrial and commercial customers. The plan is expected to incur costs of £500 million.
