SEC short-selling settlement
The Securities and Exchange Commission ordered Oaktree to pay a fine, interest, and disgorge profits after finding that securities had been sold short before the legally permitted period following a public-offering pricing. Oaktree was also required to implement policies and procedures intended to prevent similar violations.
