Paylogix discloses ransomware data breach affecting 64,383 individuals in South Carolina
Paylogix, LLC, a New York-based third-party administrator for employee benefits, payroll, and insurance administration, disclosed that hackers accessed its network between November 13 and November 18, 2025, and copied files before the intrusion was contained. The company confirmed 64,383 affected individuals in South Carolina, 2,304 in New Hampshire, and 1,102 in Vermont, with breach notices also filed in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and other states. The Akira ransomware gang was linked to the attack, and several law firms announced they are organizing class action lawsuits against Paylogix.
