Baton Rouge sues fire truck manufacturers over alleged price-fixing conspiracy
The City of Baton Rouge filed a lawsuit on Aug. 10 in the 19th Judicial District Court for East Baton Rouge Parish against Ferrara Fire Apparatus, REV Group, Oshkosh Corporation, Pierce Manufacturing, Rosenbauer America and the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers Association, alleging the defendants conspired to fix prices and restrict supply of fire apparatus sold to Louisiana municipalities through the trade group.

Pierce Manufacturing plans to add 60,000 square feet of production space to its Neenah, Wisconsin facility, with operations planned for Fall 2022.

Allegiance Fire and Rescue acquired Minuteman Fire and Rescue, Pierce Manufacturing’s exclusive dealer in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Minuteman’s employees were retained and operations continued from its existing facilities.
