UK Supreme Court denies appeal permission in PrivatBank damages case
The UK Supreme Court denied former PrivatBank owners Ihor Kolomoisky and Hennadiy Boholiubov permission to appeal the English court ruling ordering them to pay PrivatBank more than $3 billion in damages, interest and legal costs. The bank said the ruling can now be enforced in any jurisdiction.

Latvian regulator fines PrivatBank for money-laundering control violations
Latvia’s Finance and Capital Market Commission decided to fine AS PrivatBank EUR 768,653 for violations of laws concerning money laundering and terrorism and proliferation financing. The bank was also required to address problems with its internal controls.
