China Molybdenum Co. (CMOC) reached a share-purchase agreement with Freeport and acquired a 95% indirect interest in the Kisanfu copper-cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for $550 million.

Zijin Mining completes acquisition of Timok copper-gold mine interests
Zijin Mining announced that its subsidiary Zijin Europe completed the acquisition of interests in the Timok copper-gold mine on December 28, 2019. The transaction gave Zijin Mining 100% ownership of the mine's upper and lower zone resources.
