Franklin Templeton launches Putnam's first UK active ETF
Franklin Templeton launched the Franklin Putnam Focused US Research UCITS ETF, Putnam Investments' first actively managed ETF in the UK, which began trading on the London Stock Exchange on 15 October 2026. The Article 8 fund provides access to a concentrated portfolio of 30 to 45 US equities selected through Putnam's fundamental research process, is benchmarked to the S&P 500, and carries a total expense ratio of 0.31% until September 2028 after a temporary fee waiver.

Putnam launches four active ETFs
Putnam Investments launched four semi-transparent active ETFs, based on mutual funds it already manages; the ETFs were to become available in the spring.
