Raeden Acquisitions sues Gibraltar, Michigan over data center moratorium
Raeden Acquisitions, LLC and property owner CAL Realty, LLC filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Gibraltar, Michigan, alleging that the city's one-year moratorium on data centers is unlawful and seeking to force approval of a plan to convert the former McLouth steel mill site into a data center. The complaint alleges due process and equal protection violations and improper taking of property rights, and claims the moratorium was adopted to avoid reviewing Raeden's application submitted in February.
