    Adopt A Cow sought an A-share listing; the CSRC raised 48 inquiries about its “adoption/cloud adoption” model, whether membership distribution commissions involved pyramid selling or illegal fundraising, as well as its own milk source and food safety complaints; the company said the app alleged to involve pyramid selling was someone else impersonating its brand and that police had filed a case. In 2024 the IPO was terminated because the sponsor withdrew sponsorship; in April 2025 its advertisement was again accused of “mocking workers.” IPO terminated; no administrative penalty seen.
