ACEN secures energy transition financing for SLTEC
ACEN secured up to P13.7 billion in energy transition financing from BPI and RCBC for its subsidiary SLTEC. The facility is intended to refinance an existing loan, partly redeem capital in SLTEC subject to regulatory approvals, and cover related expenses; ACEN said it would reinvest proceeds from the equity redemption in renewable energy projects.
