    Ruijie Networks share-based payment accounting error distorted parent Star-net's financial reports; Star-net and executives warned by Fujian securities regulator

    The Fujian Securities Regulatory Bureau found that errors in Ruijie Networks' share-based payment accounting from 2017 to 2022 caused financial data in relevant periodic reports of its parent, Fujian Star-net Communication Co., Ltd., to be inaccurate. In August 2023, the Fujian Securities Regulatory Bureau issued warning letters to Star-net and Huang Yihao, Ruan Jiayong and Yang Jianping and recorded the matter in integrity files. In addition, 2020 reports said that Su, a former employee of a Star-net subsidiary, and the actual controller of a supplier bribed two serving procurement staff with about RMB 4.27 million to help win a RMB 120 million project; the relevant personnel were sentenced.
