Texas-based Rush Truck Centers purchased three former Peterbilt-owned dealership properties, including two in Baton Rouge, for a combined $7.4 million, according to a transaction filed with the East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court's office.

Rush Enterprises acquired certain assets of Summit Truck Group, including 16 International brand commercial vehicle dealerships and other operations and facilities. The acquisition expanded Rush Truck Centers’ network to 125 franchised dealership locations in 22 states.
