Sensorise launches Wega M1 4G module at India Mobile Congress 2026
Machine-to-machine eSIM and IoT connectivity provider Sensorise announced on Thursday the launch of its next-generation GSM module Wega M1 at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026. The domestically designed and manufactured 4G module, built on the Qualcomm 216 LTE IoT Modem and unveiled by Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia, is positioned as a pin-compatible domestic alternative to imported cellular modules for smart meters, electric vehicles, point-of-sale terminals and industrial IoT applications.

Sensorise launches Wega M1 next-generation GSM module for India's IoT ecosystem
Sensorise announced its next-generation GSM module Wega M1, designed and manufactured in India on the Qualcomm 216 LTE IoT Modem, on Thursday. The module was launched at India Mobile Congress 2026 by Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia and targets IoT/M2M applications such as smart meters, EVs, POS, asset tracking, logistics and industrial IoT, with go-to-market planned for Q1 2027.
