    Multiple batches of Shacman heavy trucks recalled over hub design, guard welding and other defects

    According to notices from the Defective Product Administrative Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd. in December 2022 recalled some new M3000 8×4 special vehicles because the welding strength of the guard device was insufficient and it could fall off and create a safety hazard; in 2019 Shacman recalled 1,517 Delong L3000 trucks due to unreasonable front hub design, and also recalled some tractors due to nonstandard application of reflective markings; in 2023 the State Administration for Market Regulation again issued a notice that Shacman was recalling some tractors.
