    Conflict-mineral and supply-chain transparency controversy

A c't report argued that publicly available information did not conclusively verify SHIFT's claims that coltan was absent from its products or that relevant materials were conflict-free. SHIFT and other sources maintained that coltan was not used. The criticism focused on the level of supplier disclosure rather than on a confirmed finding of illegal sourcing.
