Sinochem Fertilizer fined by market regulator for driving up potassium chloride prices
Sinochem Fertilizer sharply raised prices on imported potassium chloride even though its costs were unchanged, and the State Administration for Market Regulation determined it had driven up prices. Former general manager Feng Zhibin later became a vice general manager of Sinochem Group and was sentenced for bribery and other crimes. Fine: 2.6 million yuan.
