Delta makes AI-powered Concierge available to all SkyMiles Members
Delta Air Lines has made its AI-powered Delta Concierge digital assistant available to 100% of SkyMiles Members in the Delta app, less than a year after it launched in beta. The assistant supports disruption rebooking, eligible flight cancellations, bag tracking, eCredits and SkyMiles account details, and now allows customers to cancel an eligible flight directly through a conversation, with the assistant submitting a refund request or issuing an eCredit in real time.

Delta announced changes to its SkyMiles program, including shifting redeemable-mile earning from distance flown to ticket price and introducing new redemption options. The changes were scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2015.
