Snow Beer Distributor Fined 100,000 Yuan Over Illegal Prize Promotion
A distributor in Jilin City ran a Snow Beer "scan the code to win gifts" prize promotion, but the scanning page did not disclose the odds of winning; after the campaign expired, it continued selling products from the campaign period, leaving consumers unable to claim prizes. The Jilin City Market Supervision Administration determined that it used a deceptive form of prize promotion by falsely claiming prizes, in violation of Article 10 of the Anti-Unfair Competition Law. It was ordered to stop the illegal activity and fined 100,000 yuan; in April 2024 the party revised the prize redemption deadline and publicly disclosed the winning odds.

Snow Beer's Yongchuang Tianya Reportedly Found With 'Phlegm-Like' Flocculent Foreign Matter
In November 2024, a consumer in Guiyang drinking Snow Beer's Yongchuang Tianya at a grilled fish restaurant found large amounts of white flocculent sediment floating in the bottle, and the restaurant said multiple cases out of the 100 it had purchased in the same batch contained sediment. A manager at China Resources Snow Breweries (Qiandongnan) Co., Ltd. said the problem products had been withdrawn but could not explain the cause, and the two sides failed to agree on compensation. Media reviews noted that consumers had previously complained of suspected cockroaches, iron pieces and other foreign objects in Snow Beer, with 91 related complaints on the Black Cat complaint platform. The incident drew attention after being reported by a local television station; the manufacturer said it was willing to compensate but the gap with the consumer's demands was large, and no public regulatory handling result has been seen.

Snow Beer Liaocheng plant fined 240,000 yuan for wastewater exceeding standards
The Liaocheng Ecological Environment Bureau determined that wastewater discharged by China Resources Snow Breweries' Liaocheng company had chemical oxygen demand exceeding its pollutant discharge permit and relevant standards, and fined it 240,000 yuan.
