Sohu reports second-quarter 2026 results
Sohu reported second-quarter 2026 total revenue of $136 million, up 7% year over year, and non-GAAP net income attributable to Sohu of $500,000.

Tencent and Sogou complete merger
Sogou announced that it had completed its merger with Tencent and would become an indirectly wholly owned subsidiary of Tencent Holdings while continuing to operate as the surviving company. Sogou also said its ADS trading had been suspended and its outstanding shares were acquired at $9 per ADS. Sohu confirmed the equity transaction was complete and that it would receive $1.18 billion and retain no Sogou equity.

Sohu announces plan to take Changyou private
Sohu announced on Friday that it would take private its majority-owned subsidiary Changyou through an all-cash transaction valuing Changyou at approximately $579 million.
