Stagecoach entered into agreements to sell its 35% interest in Scottish Citylink Coaches, the UK Megabus business, and Falcon South-West's marketing, retail and customer service activities to ComfortDelGro for £8.75 million.

EY fined over Stagecoach audit failings
The U.K. Financial Reporting Council ordered Ernst & Young to pay a reduced £2.2 million penalty related to its audits of Stagecoach Group for the 2017 financial year. EY also received a severe reprimand and was required to report to the FRC for one year on specified audit work.

EY fined over Stagecoach audit failings
The UK Financial Reporting Council fined EY more than £2.2 million for failing to properly challenge Stagecoach’s bosses when auditing the transport group’s 2017 accounts. The regulator said the audit shortcomings were not intentional, dishonest, deliberate or reckless.

Stagecoach criticized over bus mask and distancing measures
Councillor Allan Bell criticized Stagecoach after reporting that schoolchildren without masks crowded onto a bus and that distancing measures were not being followed. Stagecoach director Steve Walker said masks were required unless passengers were medically exempt, but drivers could not legally enforce the rule, and described the seating restrictions and other precautions in place.

Goldenvoice announces 2021 dates for Coachella and Stagecoach
On June 11, 2020, festival promoter Goldenvoice announced that Coachella was scheduled for April 9–11, 2021, with a second weekend on April 16–18, and that Stagecoach was scheduled for April 23–25, 2021. These dates were announced after the festivals had been postponed because of the pandemic.
