Star Pubs and Bars fined over stocking demands
The Pubs Code Adjudicator fined Heineken's pubs business £2 million after finding that Star Pubs and Bars repeatedly breached rules by requiring tied pub tenants to stock unreasonable levels of its beers and ciders. Star Pubs said it was considering an appeal and called the fine unwarranted.
