US ITC finds infringement in Samsung patent case, issues limited exclusion order
In 2025, Samsung Display sued TCL CSOT for infringing OLED and other patents; in 2026, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) found the accused products infringing, issued a limited exclusion order and issued a cease-and-desist order against TCL North America. Exports of the related products to the United States were restricted.

Lifting injury at Shenzhen T6 plant kills one
On October 14, 2022, a lifting injury accident occurred at the plant of China Star Optoelectronics Semiconductor Display Technology Co., Ltd. in Guangming District, Shenzhen, causing one death; the related supplier and person in charge were recommended for administrative penalties. A rectification “look back” assessment was carried out after the accident investigation.
