NVIDIA and Cisco announce USFP single-lane 400Gb/s pluggable optical module specification
NVIDIA and Cisco announced plans to introduce USFP (ultra-dense small form-factor pluggable), a new high-density, single-lane 400Gb/s pluggable optical module specification designed for AI factory networks. The two companies are co-developing USFP cages, connectors and modules with TE Connectivity and Amphenol, and plan to define an open industry specification for USFP through an upcoming community-led multi-source project.
