Aircraft manufacturer Tecnam has officially launched the FAR 23-certified P2008JC NG, a Rotax-powered high-wing trainer aimed at U.S. flight schools. Breaking from the light sport aircraft category, the fully certified aircraft features glass-cockpit avionics and VFR day/night approval for Part 61 and Part 141 operations, and is positioned as a modern, cost-efficient alternative to aging legacy fleets capable of training pilots from private through commercial certification.
