Astellas files patent-infringement complaint against pharmaceutical companies
Astellas Pharma Inc. and affiliated plaintiffs filed a complaint in Delaware against 21 pharmaceutical companies, alleging that their proposed generic versions of Myrbetriq would infringe the ’780 patent. The plaintiffs sought court relief; the allegations are claims in the complaint.

U.S. government sues Teva over alleged Copaxone kickbacks
The U.S. Department of Justice sued Teva under the Federal False Claims Act. The lawsuit alleges that Teva companies used purportedly independent foundations to pay Medicare co-pays for Copaxone patients in violation of the Anti-Kickback Statute; the allegations are not presented as a court finding.
