The ePlane Company unveils e200X (PT-01) full-scale electric aircraft prototype
Chennai-headquartered aerospace startup The ePlane Company officially unveiled the e200X (PT-01), described as India's first full-scale electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, at its 60,000-square-foot production and testing facility. The 2.2-ton airframe is designed for passenger air taxis, medical air ambulance transfers and urban cargo logistics, with type certification processes underway with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
