Assault charge involving the interior designer
During a media tour of the nearly completed resort, original developer Frank Caroll beat interior designer Leonard Edward England after an alleged dispute involving Caroll's wife. Caroll was arrested for assault and battery, withdrew the property's gaming-license application, and later faced dismissal of the charges on the condition that he not reapply for a gaming license.
