    Store Remarks 'Backstab' Co-Branded Celebrity Tan Jianci, Triggering Fan Boycott

    In March 2025, during Tianlala's co-branding with Tan Jianci and the drama Filter, a store in Shangyou, Jiangxi, posted a notice saying Filter was not a major production, and another account impersonating a Tianlala store called Tan Jianci a 'cringeworthy male lead,' triggering strong fan dissatisfaction. The brand closed the involved store and terminated its authorization, and reported the fake account to police. It was also reported that in 2021, due to improper franchisee management and frequent quality problems, 500 to 600 stores were forcibly closed.
