    Tokio Marine HCC International to acquire Direct Commercial Limited

    Tokio Marine HCC International, part of the Tokio Marine HCC group, announced on Aug. 28, 2026 that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Direct Commercial Limited, a UK commercial motor managing general agent writing over £200 million in gross written premium, along with its sister company Direct Commercial Premium Finance Limited. DCL will continue to operate as a standalone business, preserving its brand, team and broker relationships.
