Tokio Marine Holdings agrees to acquire Privilege Underwriters
Tokio Marine Holdings announced that it had reached an agreement to purchase Privilege Underwriters from investors led by Stone Point Capital and KKR. The transaction was expected to close in Q1 2020. PURE Group companies were to become wholly owned subsidiaries of HCC Insurance Holdings, with an exception for Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange.
