Toyota GAZOO Racing unveils partially upgraded GR86
GAZOO Racing (GR) unveiled a partially upgraded GR86 and announced that Toyota vehicle dealers across Japan will begin accepting customer orders on August 28. The update includes the return of the 'Solid Gray' exterior color, an updated RZ trim interior, fine-tuned throttle control, electric power steering and shift operability, and an EyeSight driver-assist system upgraded to a triple-camera configuration. An automatic transmission was also added to the GR86 Cup Car Basic, with shipments scheduled to start in December 2026.
