    The Intercept and FPF sue Trump and White House officials over Truth API paid early access

    The Intercept Media and the Freedom of the Press Foundation sued President Donald Trump and several White House officials on August 12, alleging that Truth API, a Trump Media service launched August 1 that sells faster access to Truth Social posts for up to $100,000 a month, gives paying customers preferential access to government information in violation of the First and Fifth Amendments. Trump Media is not a defendant.
