UMC and Chipbond announce strategic cooperation
UMC, its subsidiary Hongcheng Venture Capital, and Chipbond announced a share-exchange plan and said UMC and Chipbond would establish a long-term strategic cooperation relationship. The planned exchange would give UMC and its subsidiary a combined approximately 9.09% stake in Chipbond, while Chipbond would hold approximately 0.62% of UMC.
