Universal Studios Hollywood announced a two-night after-hours Pass Member Holiday Park Takeover scheduled for December 1 and 2, 2026. Admission is free with a valid Annual or Season Pass, and an advance online reservation is required.

Universal Studios Hollywood pledges new sound barrier and morning operating limits after ride noise complaints
At a community meeting attended by at least 350 people on September 30, 2026, Universal Studios Hollywood pledged to erect another sound barrier around its Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift rollercoaster and promised the ride will not operate between 8AM and 9AM for the rest of the year, after local residents complained about noise from riders' screams. Several mitigations, including an existing sound barrier, were already implemented since the ride opened on September 16, 2026. Resident Roy P. Disney argued the noise violates Universal Studios' land usage permits.
