Utilimaster begins production of first parcel-delivery EV order
The Shyft Group announced that its Utilimaster brand was producing its first production order of electric vehicles designed specifically for parcel fleet customers on a new flexible body assembly line. Production of the vehicles was expected to begin in 2021 on a dedicated EV chassis assembly line.

Utilimaster plans production expansion in Bristol
Utilimaster described expanding its footprint into a new 105,000-square-foot facility in Bristol, Indiana. Company officials also said its flagship Bristol facility would begin second-shift operations to accommodate increased demand, adding approximately 200 jobs.
