VAALCO Energy's board named George Maxwell as the company's new chief executive officer, effective April 12, 2021. Maxwell continued to serve as a board member.

VAALCO restores production at Etame wells
VAALCO reported that it completed a workover and replaced the failed ESP at the Etame 10H well, restoring production, and that it repaired the Etame 4H wellhead and brought that well online in December 2019.
