Vir Biotechnology and Samsung Biologics agree on antibody manufacturing
Vir Biotechnology and Samsung Biologics announced a manufacturing agreement valued at approximately US$362 million under which Samsung Biologics will provide large-scale manufacturing services for Vir's SARS-CoV-2 monoclonal antibody program. Production was scheduled to commence in October 2020; the parties were still negotiating complete details and hoped to execute a definitive agreement before July 31, 2020.

WuXi Biologics and Vir Biotechnology partner on COVID-19 antibody development and production
WuXi Biologics and Vir Biotechnology announced a collaboration agreement to develop and produce fully human monoclonal antibodies for treating COVID-19. WuXi Biologics will support cell-line, process and formulation development and early clinical production; the agreement provides WuXi Biologics commercialization rights in Greater China if the antibodies receive regulatory approval, while Vir holds rights in other global markets.
