Falklands advertisement controversy
Y&R Argentina produced a politically charged advertisement for the Argentine government showing an Olympic athlete training in the Falkland Islands, including near a British war memorial. The advertisement was condemned in Britain and elsewhere. Y&R denounced the work, apologized and requested that the spot be withdrawn.
