VTB raises savings-product rates
Russia's second-largest bank, VTB, announced that it was raising rates on savings products, including foreign-currency deposits. Maximum annual rates were set at 21% for ruble deposits, 8% for US-dollar deposits, and 7% for euro deposits.

VTB and Qatar National Bank sign commercial partnership
VTB and Qatar National Bank signed a commercial partnership agreement to develop business and jointly conduct investment management activities and consulting in debt, capital and real estate markets. The parties said they would jointly launch Qatari and Russian funds to raise foreign capital for both markets.

VTB files UK lawsuit against Mozambique over loan debt
VTB said it had filed a lawsuit in Britain against Mozambique to recover $535 million lent to Mozambique Asset Management after the company defaulted on loan repayments.
