WeMo announces food pickup service
WeMo Scooter announced its WeMo food pickup service, planned to debut in mid-July. Customers will be able to order and pay in the app, then ride a shared scooter to collect food from participating merchants.

WeMo Scooter lays off 23 employees
Taipei’s Labor Department reported that WeMo Scooter’s operator laid off 23 employees, all of whom left on January 8. WeMo said it had made staffing adjustments as part of an organizational-structure adjustment and described the move as not large-scale layoffs.
