Cyprus parade demotion
At a Queen's birthday parade in Cyprus, William Windsor failed to keep step and attempted to headbutt a drummer. A disciplinary hearing found his conduct unacceptable and reduced him from lance corporal to fusilier. The demotion was widely reported as an unusual military disciplinary case and generated an animal-rights protest.
