    Postcards from Buster episode controversy

WTVS declined to air the episode “Sugartime!” from Postcards from Buster. The episode portrayed the program's central character visiting Vermont and meeting children with lesbian parents. The decision followed criticism from Education Secretary Margaret Spellings and occurred during a broader national dispute over the episode's suitability for public-television children's programming. PBS subsequently removed it from the national PBS Kids Go! schedule.
