Yadu penalized for misleading promotional pricing
Beijing Yadu Environmental Technology Co. was warned and fined RMB 150,000 after the Beijing Changping District market regulator found that its Tmall promotion compared a 1,499 yuan promotional price with a purported 1,999 yuan regular price, although the product had not actually sold at 1,999 yuan in the preceding seven days.

Yadu recalls 1,939 air purifiers over electric-shock risk
Beijing Yadu Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. voluntarily recalled 1,939 KJ400G-P3D air purifiers manufactured from November 1 to November 14, 2017. A component defect could leave residual voltage and create an electric-shock risk when the plug's metal parts are touched shortly after unplugging. The company said it would replace circuit boards free of charge.
