ZEISS announces acquisition of Ceres Holographics
ZEISS announced the acquisition of Ceres Holographics, a holography innovation company headquartered in Livingston, Scotland. Ceres Holographics is being integrated into ZEISS Micro-Optics, and its latest holographic manufacturing innovations will be combined with ZEISS's ProSight holographic technology platform to accelerate the industrialization of holographic windshield display and expand holographic applications in automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, retail, near-eye display and public transport. The two parties agreed not to disclose the transaction amount or other deal details.

vivo announces X500 series launch for September
vivo officially announced that its X500 series, expected to include the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, will debut in September, succeeding the X300 series. The company said the lineup will upgrade imaging, especially video, with the X500 Pro series featuring a ZEISS ultra-dynamic main camera using a custom Phantom 900 sensor co-developed by Sony and vivo's Blueprint Imaging team, supporting up to 17EV dynamic range, 4K 240fps slow motion and 4K 120fps HDR video. vivo also highlighted the X500 Pro Max's 3° optical stabilization and CIPA 7.0-rated stabilization.
