Nvidia reportedly to invest US$2 billion in Zhongji Innolight
Nvidia is reported to plan a US$2 billion strategic investment in Chinese optical module leader Zhongji Innolight, to fund development of next-generation optical modules, expand global capacity and build a new factory in Thailand. Zhongji Innolight and Xinyisheng did not directly respond on August 12, saying only that company announcements should be consulted.

Zhongji Innolight released its 2019 annual report and 2020 first-quarter report on April 23, 2020. It reported 2019 revenue of 4.758 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders of 513 million yuan; first-quarter 2020 revenue was 1.326 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders was 154 million yuan.

Zhongji Innolight announces proposed acquisition of Chuhantech stake
Zhongji Innolight announced that it proposed to purchase a 67.19% stake in Chuhantech for RMB 384.0045 million in cash. The source states that upon completion, Chuhantech would become a controlling subsidiary of Zhongji Innolight.
