Overview

AGBO is an American film and television production company based in Los Angeles. It was founded in 2017 by filmmakers and producers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The company develops and produces films, television programs, and streaming projects, often through partnerships with major studios and platforms. AGBO's public profile is closely associated with the Russo brothers' work as directors and producers, including their experience on Marvel projects and their involvement in genre films and serialized entertainment. As a production company rather than a consumer-products brand, its public information generally centers on individual projects, founders, and partners, while detailed financial, ownership, and management disclosures are limited.

History

AGBO was founded in 2017 by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. By that time, both founders had established careers in film directing, producing, and television, and they used AGBO as a vehicle for developing and producing screen projects. The company has worked across commercial films, television, and streaming content rather than focusing on a single genre or distribution channel. Its projects are typically developed in partnership with studios, streaming platforms, and other production entities. Publicly available information is concentrated on the founders and individual productions, while detailed information about ownership, financial performance, and internal corporate history remains limited.
